About Viking Baldur

One of Viking's near-identical 135-meter Longships, Viking Baldur carries 190 guests and has sailed since 2013. It is named for Baldur, the much-loved god of light whose death Loki engineered with a sprig of mistletoe. Its 2026 and 2027 departures are mostly the Grand European Tour, which links Budapest and Amsterdam by way of the Main-Danube Canal. Its schedule also includes Passage to Eastern Europe, a lower-Danube route between Bucharest and Budapest, and Christmas on the Rhine market cruises. Its 95 staterooms run from 150-square-foot standard rooms with half-height windows to two-room Veranda and Explorer Suites, and the ship has hybrid engines.
