About Viking Fjolvar

Viking Fjolvar is one of six 168-guest Longships Viking built for the Seine, and it entered service in 2026. Fjolvar, its namesake, is a giant mentioned in the Poetic Edda poem Harbardsljod as a companion of Odin. Its 2026 and 2027 departures are mostly Paris & the Heart of Normandy, a round trip from Paris down the Seine toward the Normandy beaches, with Christmastime in Paris & Normandy in season. It is a shorter Longship variant, 125 meters long with 84 staterooms, and keeps the Aquavit Terrace and a sun deck with a walking track and solar panels. It was built at Neptun Werft and delivered in June 2026, and it docks at Viking's own berth in central Paris.
