About Viking Gymir
Viking Gymir is a 190-guest Viking Longship, one of the 135-meter sister ships that make up most of Viking's European river fleet, and it entered service in 2022. Gymir, its namesake, is a wealthy giant known for his ale and feasts and the father of Gerd, wife of the god Freyr. For 2026 and 2027 Viking schedules it mainly on the Grand European Tour, which links Budapest and Amsterdam by way of the Main-Danube Canal. Its schedule also includes Danube Christmas Delights market sailings and springtime Tulips & Windmills round trips from Amsterdam. The square-bowed design fits three full passenger decks under a sun deck with an herb garden, a putting green and a walking track.
