Viking Halogi is an upcoming 190-guest Viking Longship, a sister of the 135-meter ships that dominate Viking's European fleet. Halogi, or Logi, is a fire giant of Norse myth, linked with Kari (wind) and Aegir (sea) as one of three primal elements. viking.com gives its build year as 2026; its godparent was named in August 2026 and its first listed departure is a Rhine Getaway on March 8, 2027. Its announced program includes the Rhine Getaway between Basel and Amsterdam and Christmas on the Rhine market cruises. Public rooms follow the Longship pattern: a lounge with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a panoramic restaurant, the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace at the bow and a sun deck with solar panels.
