About Viking Honir
Viking Honir is a four-deck Viking Longship for 190 guests that joined the fleet in 2025. Honir, its namesake, is the god who gave the first humans inspiration and understanding. Through 2027 it sails chiefly on Passage to Eastern Europe, a lower-Danube route between Bucharest and Budapest, with Christmas on the Danube sailings in season. Public rooms follow the Longship pattern: a lounge with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a panoramic restaurant, the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace at the bow and a sun deck with solar panels. Delivered in Basel in October 2025, it was named later that month in a Basel ceremony for nine new ships that took Viking past 100 vessels.
