About Viking Idi

Viking Idi, a 190-guest Longship that joined the fleet in 2014, belongs to the large class of sister ships Viking introduced in 2012. Idi, the namesake, is a frost giant who divided his father's gold with his brothers by mouthfuls. Viking's 2026-2027 calendar has it mostly on Cities of Light, a Moselle, Rhine and Main cruise between Trier and Nuremberg with stays in Paris and Prague. Its schedule also includes Christmas on the Main & Moselle sailings and Paris to the Swiss Alps, a Moselle and Rhine cruise from Trier to Basel framed by stays in Paris and Zurich. Like its sisters it has 95 outside staterooms, including two Explorer Suites with wraparound verandas, and a square bow that makes room for the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace.
