About American Pride

American Pride is a paddlewheeler built by Chesapeake Shipbuilding that entered service in 2012 on the Mississippi as Queen of the Mississippi. When that name passed to a newer sister, it was moved to the Columbia and Snake rivers as American Pride, joining the fleet there in 2016, and it was renovated in 2022. The line lists it at 150 guests, with five decks, a glass-enclosed restaurant, three lounges, a study area, a fitness center and an elevator, and its decor draws on Western and Native American themes and the Lewis and Clark expedition. It sails between Portland, Oregon, and Clarkston, Washington.
