About American Ranger

American Ranger is the fourth Patriot-class coastal ship of American Cruise Lines, a 130-guest vessel built by Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, Maryland, that began sailing in September 2026 on Hudson River cruises between New York City and Albany. It was christened at Catskill Point in Catskill, New York, on September 24, 2026, during its inaugural fall foliage cruise. Like its sisters it has a traditional bow, full stabilization, all-balcony cabins including singles and suites, and a top-deck Sky Lounge. After the Hudson season it is scheduled for the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River, Florida Gulf Coast cruises from St. Petersburg in the winter, Puget Sound from April 2027 and its first Alaska season in summer 2027.
