About Amsterdam

Amsterdam was the fourth and last of Holland America's R-class ships, and she shared co-flagship status with Rotterdam. She entered service in October 2000 with twin-uptake funnels styled after the 1958 Rotterdam, a two-level dining room aft with windows over the wake and a pool under a retractable glass roof. In July 2020, during the pandemic shutdown, Holland America announced that she and three other ships would leave the fleet, and she was sold to Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, with delivery expected in the UK that September. She now sails for Fred. Olsen as Bolette.
