About Arcadia

Arcadia is a Vista-class ship moving to Holland America from its sister line P&O Cruises. Holland America has announced only that she will join the fleet in 2029; her new name, itineraries and first sailing date have not been revealed. Holland America ordered her in 2000 as its fifth Vista-class ship, but she was switched to P&O Cruises shortly before her launch, and she has sailed for P&O since April 2005. Built by Fincantieri at Marghera, she measures about 84,300 gross tons and carries about 1,950 guests. Carnival plc announced in 2026 that she would be refurbished for the move, and Holland America says she will gain its signature features and new enhancements under the Holland America Evolution program.
