About Viking Gersemi
Viking Gersemi is a four-deck Viking Longship for 190 guests that joined the fleet in 2020. Gersemi, its namesake, is a daughter of Freya whose name, like her sister Hnoss's, means "treasure." Through 2027 it sails chiefly on the Rhine Getaway between Basel and Amsterdam, with Christmas on the Rhine market cruises in season. Public rooms follow the Longship pattern: a lounge with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a panoramic restaurant, the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace at the bow and a sun deck with solar panels.
