About Viking Jarl
Viking Jarl is a four-deck Viking Longship for 190 guests that joined the fleet in 2013. Jarl, its namesake, is the son Heimdal fathered while traveling in disguise, the legendary first of the earls. Through 2027 it sails chiefly on Romantic Danube cruises between Budapest and Regensburg. Its schedule also includes Christmas on the Danube sailings and Passage to Eastern Europe, a lower-Danube route between Bucharest and Budapest. Public rooms follow the Longship pattern: a lounge with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a panoramic restaurant, the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace at the bow and a sun deck with solar panels.
